It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gayle Potts, who passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 71 in Lloydminster, AB.
Gayle is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Kirk Potts; her children, Erin (Ian) and Tyler (Allie); and her cherished grandchildren, Erika, Eden, Zachary, Paige, Lincoln, Lilly, Kaiden, and Kali, who were truly her world. She is also lovingly remembered by her mother, Rose Sargeant; her sister, Yvonne (Myles) Bridger; and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Brent (Karen) Potts, Lance (Judy) Potts, and Linda Potts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gayle was predeceased by her father, Charles Sargeant; her brother, Jim Sargeant; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Potts; her father-in-law, Dick Potts; her brother-in-law, Warren Potts; and her sister-in-law, Debbie Potts.
Gayle’s greatest joy and proudest legacy was her family. She lived wholeheartedly for her husband, her children, and especially her grandchildren, pouring her love into every moment spent with them. She was a constant source of strength, comfort, and unwavering support, and her love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital, the paramedics, Father Arun Rodrigues, and Creech’s Funeral Home for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
