Obituary of Olga MacMillan

On Wednesday, November 11, 2009 Mrs. Olga MacMillan of Vermilion passed away in the Harvest Home at the Vermilion Continuing Care Centre at the age of 89 years. She is loved and remembered by her children: Duncan (Jean) MacMillan of Vermilion, Rodena (Darwin) Cundliffe of Leduc, Margaret (Lyle) Currie of Fort Saskatchewan, Allister (Roxie) MacMillan of Camrose, Barbara (Robert) Snelgrove of Vermilion, Ken (Barb) MacMillan of Hardisty, Malcolm MacMillan of Escondido, California, Rosemary MacMillan (Marvin Senft) of Chilliwack, BC and Maurice (Heather) MacMillan of Vermilion; 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; her sisters: Anne Laight of Nepean, Ontario and Elizabeth (George) Henderson of Wetaskiwin. Olga was Predeceased by her husband Alex; Daughter Christina and her husband Ray Millar; Daughter-in-law Debbie MacMillan, Granddaughter Nadine Millar A Prayer Service for Olga will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Vermilion on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Vermilion on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Adam Deren officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Andrews Cemetery. Donations in memory of Olga may be made to the St. Andrews Cemetery Fund (C/O Marie Bardoel, 5609-52 Ave. Vermilion, AB T9X 1V6) or the charity of your choice.
