Obituary of Norman James Opperman

On Wednesday, January 6, 2010 Mr. Norm Opperman of Mervin, Saskatchewan passed away at Riverside Health Care Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan at the age of 80 years. Norm is survived by his wife Joyce of Mervin; his children: Alex (Lori) of Lloydminster, Lynn (Corrine) of Castlegar, BC, Della (Garry) Payne of Lloydminster and Joan (Ronnie) Schneider of Lloydminster; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brothers Robert of Paradise Hill, Walter of Mervin and George (Pat) of Ontario, sisters Olive (Clayton) of Glaslyn and Georgina (Clarence) of Mervin. He was predeceased by his mother in 1975, father in 1979 and 2 sisters Verna and Lila. A Memorial Service for Norm will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Hope Hall in Mervin, Saskatchewan. with Pastor Dan Gies officiating.
