So terribly sorrow to hear the news of Dawn. Growing up in the early days in Wainwright she was family. So many good memories, Christmases together, trips to the community pasture, times at the lake, and just family get togethers. Our boys spent countless hours playing with Dawn and Ben. We had the priviledge of seeing her grow up to be the loving wife and mom and courageous person that she became. We will treasure all the wonderful memories. I am deeply saddened to hear of Dawn's passing. I grew up with Dawn, and both her and Ben were like the "Canadian" cousins we never had. The Mackee boys spent many a summer, Christmas and pretty much any other special event with the Millers. My heart goes out to Derek and the girls, you were very lucky to have had Dawn in your lives. To Ken and Jen, be proud of the wonderful daughter, wife, mother you raised; she will be sorely missed. To have to write such a short, meaningful letter of condolence for Dawn seems impossible...She touched everyone's spirit when she met them - she warmed our hearts & put smiles on our faces. Derek & girls, My heart aches for you all at this time. It does not seem real, it's a haze of some sort not having her there. But rest assure that she is & will always be with you in your hearts & memories. She's cured & now has a perfect heavenly body & a mansion that Jesus prepared "JUST" for her in heaven. She's not alone, Sandra is there with her & are together in heaven along with other friends & relatives that have gone before us. You "WILL" see her again because you have accepted Christ as your saviour. He promises us all that & we can take comfort in that because GOD cannot lie. Cherish the memories, never forget that she loved you all SOOO much & she wished she could still be here with you but GOD has a plan that we don't know. He wanted her home with him & he has great things instore for all of you. I know it's hard to trust him right now, but he has your best interest in mind. You are HIS children & he "WILL" look after you! The bible tells us that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD". What better place to be is there than heaven.....& that's where your mom (Dawn) is right now. Stay strong in the LORD & let all your friends & family help you, they want too, so let them.
