Obituary of Vera McKay

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020 Mrs. Vera McKay passed away at her home at Points West Living, Wainwright at the age of 92 years. Vera is survived by her loving daughter, Mona (Ross) Almberg of Czar, AB; three grandchildren, Vanessa (Dillan) Almberg, Renee Almberg, Luke Almberg all of Czar; one brother, Gordon (Anita) Hammer of Leduc, AB, sister-in-law, Donna Hammer of Leduc; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jack; infant sister, Elinora; infant brother, Armand; brother, Raymond Hammer; adopted brother, Bill Tauber; niece, Glenda Hickey; brother in law, Donald (Dorie) McKay; and sister in law, Susan McKay. A private funeral service for Vera will be conducted on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Irma United Church, Irma, Alberta with Reverend Scott Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery. Family and friends wishing to participate may do so by accessing the webcast video link below her photo or under the photos and video tab above.
