On Friday, May 14, 2021 Mrs. Dorreen Ahlgren passed away in the Mannville Care Centre, at the age of 100 years. Dorreen will be forever be loved and remembered by her Children James (Sharon) Noble of Penticton, Albert Noble of Vermilion, Ronald (Marilyn) Noble of Lloydminster, Gene (Cheryl) Noble of Pentiction, Patricia (Charles) Richmond of Edmonton, Greg (Oressa) Ahlgren of Vermilion, Gerry Ahlgren of Vermilion, Lyle Ahlgren of Vermilion, Brenda Lee (Owen) Brodbin of Clandonald and Holly (Gerald) Popowich of Lloydminster; 23 Grandchildren; 41 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren; Brother James Simmonds of Vermilion;Brother-in-law Bill Connors of Surrey; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by Twin Daughters Margaret and Marjorie Noble;Parents William and Fanny Simmonds; Granddaughter Christine Cusack; 1st Husband John Noble; 2nd Husband Josef Ahlgren; Companion Francis Allison; Sisters Josephine (Walter) Pinel, Ivy Paré, Cathy Tiffinger; Joan Connors; Brothers William (Muriel) Simmonds and Dennis (Marlene) Simmonds. Following Covid-19 restrictions a Family Graveside Service will be held at the Vermilion Public Cemetery. If so desired donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of your choice.
