Obituary of Gertie Westwong
On April 26, 2024 Gertie Westwong passed away at Harvest Home, Vermilion Long Term Care, Vermilion, Alberta. Gertie is forever loved and remembered by her children:
Connie (Doug) Olstad of Elk Point, Ralph (Donna) Westwong of Spruce Grove, Sheila (Paul) Lewis of Edmonton. Grandchildren Amy (Randy), Cathy (Dale), Rena, and Evan
Great Grandchildren Derrick and Mya. Siblings Tony Leentvaar, John (Sandy) Leentvaar, Hugo (Flo) Leentvaar. As well as numerous nieces and nephews
She was predeceased by her Husband Dick Westwong, parents Hugo and Gerritje Leentvaar and infant Son Ricky (1958)
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
