Obituary of Donald Stuart McKechnie

On Sunday, July 16, 2017 Mr. Donald McKechnie of Lloydminster passed away at the age of 88 years In Lloydminster, Alberta. Don will be forever loved and missed by his Wife Audrey McKechnie of Lloydminster; Children Shana (Stan) Harney of Lloydminster, Leeann McKechnie of Ottawa, and Tannis (Dale) Benson of Lloydminster; Grandchildren Caitlin, Brianne and Rylan Harney, and Adam and Keely Benson; Sisters-In-Law Shirley VanMetre and Gayle (Collin) Henschel; Brothers-In-Law Gordon (Myrna) Orr and Russel (Ethel) Newman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his Parents James and Beatrice; Sisters Christine, Hazel & her Husband Pete Holt, and Lytle; Brothers Turner & his Wife Lorna, and Angus; Sisters-in-Law and Brothers-In-Law Doug & Mary Orr, Murray Orr, Glenn (Vera) Orr, John VanMetre, Neil Orr and Patsy Newman. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday July 21, 2017 at the Blackfoot Community Hall. If so desired donations in memory of Don may be made to the Alberta Lung Association, Alberta Cancer Foundation, or charity of choice.
