Obituary of Marjorie Helen Spornitz

On Tuesday, December 20, 2016 Mrs. Marjorie Spornitz of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Edgerton, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 82 years. Marj is survived by three children, Cheryl (Warren) MacIsaac, Brenda (Rick) Conkin, Warren (Stephanie) Spornitz all of Edgerton; six grandchildren, Morgan (Zack Belton) MacIsaac, Matthew (Madison Walters) MacIsaac, Mianna Spornitz, Kensey Spornitz, Heidi Spornitz, Joely Conkin; one great granddaughter, Brynlee Belton; three sisters, Marie Kellier of Calgary, Alberta, Lorraine Ashton of Calgary, Joyce (Ross) Perkins of Sherwood Park, Alberta; sister-in-law, Ann Garnett of Wainwright; brother-in-law, Ches (Joan) Spornitz of Czar, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bud on September 17, 2016; her parents, Paul and Lena Belik; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Jen Spornitz; sister, Carolyn Belik; brothers-in-law, Bob Kellier and Chuck Garnett. A funeral service for the late Mrs. Marjorie Spornitz will be conducted on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Edgerton Agricultural Hall. Interment will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Faith United Church, Edgerton or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Creech's Funeral Home in care of all arrangements.
