Obituary of Lorraine Barbara Lapierre

Lorraine Barbara Lapierre was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 17, 1939 to John and Julia Scherger. She passed away suddenly in Wainwright, Alberta on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 77 years of age. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband, of 61 years, Raymond; children, Dan Lapierre of Wainwright, Donna (Ralph) Westwong of Spruce Grove, Melanie Ingram of Edson, Kari (Alvin) Breault of Edson; grandchildren, Erin (David) Hand, Annette (Scott) Zachow, Marc (Chelsea Martin) Lapierre, Rena Westwong, Evan Westwong, Justin Breault and Ethan Breault; great-grandchildren, Pascale Hand and William Zachow; sister, Judy (Gene) Grunow of Wainwright; as well as many extended family and friends. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, John and Julia Scherger; and two brothers, Wendelin and Philip Scherger. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, July 24, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Wainwright, Alberta with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating and interment to follow at Wainwright Cemetery.
