Obituary of Robert Donald Smallwood

On Saturday, January 22, 2022 Mr. Bob Smallwood of Irma, Alberta passed away surrounded by his family at the Viking Health Centre, at the age of 69 years old. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Donna and their three children, Craig Smallwood of Red Deer, Chelsea Smallwood of Edmonton, Caitlin (Toni) Smallwood of Calgary; three sisters, Lorraine Patrick of Calgary, Marion Fischer of Wainwright, Carole Conrad of Calgary; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dawn Daechsel (Euan McLean) of BC, Darlene (Delmer) Schnuelle of California, Dan (Karen) Daechsel of Minnesota; Bob is also survived by a loving and extensive clan of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Cliff and Peggy Smallwood; three brothers-in-law, Bill Patrick, Butch Fischer, and Keith Conrad. A funeral service for Bob will be conducted on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Irma School Auditorium. In accordance with the Government of Alberta, those attending must show a valid QR code or provide a negative rapid PCR test within 72 hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Irma Golf Club.
