Obituary of Elsie Irene Fleming

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elsie Fleming of Irma, Alberta on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Elsie will be forever remembered and loved by her husband of 58 years Hugh Fleming; four daughters Linda (Laurier) Mahe of Legal, Teresa Fleming of Toronto, Lotty (Wayne) Ewasiw of Thorhild and Lorry Fleming (David Bristow) of Heinsburg; and considered as another daughter by Elsie and Hugh, Debbie (Kent) Staden of Mannville; grandchildren: Michelle, Kristi, Shae (Andrew), Jamie (Devon), Alyssa, Shelby (Logan), Tyler, Travis (Rena); step grandchildren: Levi (Brenna), Royle (Rikki); great grandchildren: Savannah, Evelyn, Thomas and Bexley; sisters Shirley Matters of Mannville and Colleen (Wayne) Gwinn of Irma as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie was predeceased by her parents Lewis and Alma Cropley; sisters Ethel Schreyer and Pearl Kennedy. A Funeral Service for Elsie will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Mannville Recreation Centre in Mannville, Alberta at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Mannville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Mannville Cemetery.
