Obituary of Doris Mae Jackson

On behalf of the family we announce the death of a dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend...Doris Mae Jackson of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at 91 years of age on Thursday, June 14, 2018. She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children Russ (Gail) Jackson of Calmar Alberta, and Victoria Jackson of Nashville Tennessee; four grandchildren Sherry (Troy Verdenhalven) Jackson, Gordie Jackson, Rocky Rainone and Shaun Rainone, her sister, Shirley O'How, and many extended family and friends. Doris is predeceased by her husband Marvin (1993), granddaughter Anjali, her brothers Edgar Wilson and Gordie Wilson, and parents, Wib and Myrtle Wilson. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, June 28, 2018, 2:00 p.m from the Grace United Church, Wainwright, Alberta with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating and interment to follow at Wainwright Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial contributions would be gratefully accepted by Wainwright Cemetery Fund, Grace Untied Church, or the donor's choice of charity.
