Obituary of Ida Elsie Gibb

Ida Elsie Gibb was born October 15, 1923 in the Edinglassie District to Victor and Elsie Mew. Ida passed away peacefully at the Wainwright hospital on December 12, 2018 at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn three children; daughter, Georgina (Harold) Taylor and their children; John (Kirsten) Taylor and their sons, Brad (Sammi), their children, Cooper & Rosalie; Garrett (Amanda); Janice (Kevin) Wirsta, their daughters, Kailey & Lexi; son, Jack (Betty) Gibb; their sons, Dale (Darcie) their children Delaney, Dayton, Draidyn, Denna; Dennis (Jackie) and their daughters, Neely & Jordan; daughter, Joy (Jerry) Pisklak and their son Jeff; as well as sister Vicki Lorenz and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, George; Mother and Father, Elsie & Victor Mew; and sisters, Kathleen, Dorothy, & Lucy. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Repsol Community Centre, Chauvin, Alberta with Pastor Joanne Fraser officiating. A private family interment to take place at the Chauvin Cemetery.
