Obituary of George "Henry" Lavergne

On Friday, December 28, 2018 Mr. Henry Lavergne of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 93 years. Henry is survived by his wife, Mary of Wainwright; three children, Bernie (Ray) Wood of Wainwright, Greg (Lori Marchand) Lavergne of Wainwright, Joan (Michael Gordon) Lavergne of Edmonton, Alberta; eight grandchildren, Chris Wood, Stephen Wood, Julie-Ann Pankovich, Coddi Lavergne, Jordan Lavergne, Dillon Lavergne, Adam McNeil, Jenna McNeil; sixteen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Mark in 2005. A Funeral Mass for the late Mr. Henry Lavergne will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Cemetery Fund or to Wainwright Fire and Rescue.
