Obituary of Patricia Alice Aykroyd

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 Mrs. Patricia Aykroyd of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 83 years. Pat is survived by her loving family; four children, Grant (Gale) Aykroyd, Carolee (Elden) Watt, Trent (Kari) Aykroyd, Blaine Aykroyd all of Wainwright; eleven grandchildren, Travis (Alexis) Aykroyd, Dustin Aykroyd, Dallas (Brittany) Watt, Brodie Watt, Jaycee (Dustin) Gorst, Amber Watt, Cole Aykroyd, Jayden Aykroyd, Parker Aykroyd, Carter Aykroyd, Spencer Aykroyd; four great grandchildren, Scarlett Watt, Blake Watt, Klinch Gorst, Knox Gorst; one brother, Barry (Lois) Dutton of Victoria, British Columbia; sister-in-law, Melba (Guy) Sasseville of Edmonton, Alberta; brother-in-law, Claude Aykroyd of Kelowna, British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1997; sister-in-law, Norma Brown; brothers-in-law, Bob Brown and Jim Aykroyd. A funeral service for Pat will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
