Obituary of Morris Thorburn Johnstone

On Monday, April 29, 2019 Mr. Morris Johnstone passed away in Lloydminster, Alberta at the age of 89 years. Morris will be forever loved and remembered by his Loving Wife of 17 years Doris Laverty of Lloydminster; Children Daniel (Eileen) Johnstone of Edmonton, Raymond (Jane) Johnstone of Millet, Karen Passmore of Lloydminster; Dennis (Bernice) Laverty of Edmonton; Grandchildren David, Richard, Peter, Mark, Alex and Jack Johnstone, Dana Passmore, Darlis Letwinetz, Shawn Laverty, Shannon Eger; 12 Great-Grandchildren; Sister In-law Zola Johnstone of Independence Missouri; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his Daughter Meai Ungstad; Son Gary (Diane) Laverty; Son In-law Bernie Passmore; Grandchildren Tyler and Christy Harder; Parents Thomas and Bessie Johnstone; Brother Allan Johnstone A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Creech’s Funeral Home in Lloydminster.
