Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Everett

At 93, having lived a rich and loving life, Ruth passed away peacefully at the Wainwright Extended Care Centre on Monday, March 19, 2007. _____________________________________________ Ruth was born on November 19, 1913 in Wainwright, Alberta to Adolphus and Mildred Seale, the eldest of four children. Her early schooling was at Battleview and Wainwright. After attending Normal School in Edmonton, she returned to teach for three years at Battleview before marrying Lloyd Everett of the Autumn Leaf community. During their 63 years of marriage, Ruth was a loving wife and mother, a devoted Christian, an active community member, and their home was always open to family and friends. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her son Francis (Martha) Everett of Wainwright; daughter Lorene (Art) Turner of Edmonton; grandchildren Darrell (Cindy) Everett of Calgary, Todd Everett, Toscha (Jonathan) Turner, Tom (Lynn) Turner of Edmonton, and Terri Walker of Raleigh, NC; one great-grandson, Jeffrey Everett of Calgary; a sister Irene Haggith of Fort Saskatchewan; two sisters-in-law, Grace Seale of Edmonton and Beth Seale of Wainwright; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 1999 and her brothers Burt in 1999 and Forest in 2006.
