Dear Joyce and family, we wish to let you know that we are with you in this time of grief. We pray for Walter's soul and strength and comfort for you and your family. We know how you feel Joyce. We just lost our thirty-six year old son Murray. They say that time heals but I find time just goes too slowly. Seeing everything Walter has owned or touched immediately will bring tears and a painful ache in your heart. I deal with my grief by puttering around in the garden, constantly asking God for help, talking to my dear son and of course through the necessary tears. You already know this feeling because of Brenda's passing. I fondly remember the joy and laughter that I had when cousin Walter Chupka and I visited Auntie Katie and Uncle Peter's farm, which I believe became yours. As a young boy that was a great highlight being with Walter, Ned, Mike, wild Uncle Bill, cousin Walter Chupka and sometimes with Natalka and cousin Raynard. It was such a happy and even hilarious place to be for a boy. I will never forget those blessed times. At this time for you, it is painful. That will eventually ease. Remember Joyce you will see your dear Walter again, only he will look a little different. He will look like the young Walter that first began courting you. The one with that great smile and Brenda will be with him. Remember this thought every day. In the meantime we pray that the Lord will give you strength and comfort. At times it will feel like God is not there, but be assured He is close and carrying you through this painful time. Again, we pray for Walter's soul and we pray for an easing of the grief that you and your family are experiencing. With love and prayers, Marvin and Harriet.
