Dear Catherine, what a sad time for you, I know how tough it is to lose a mom. There'll be so many times when you want to call and tell her something and the reality hits that she's not there anymore..but the memories will always be there and they will keep her near. I've had some wonderful visits with your mom over the past few years whether it was in the Walmart parking lot or the hospital. I feel very honoured to have had time with her the day she broke her hip and sadly that's the last time I saw her. I will remember the Nancy,the little petite and proud English women that loved roses and black currents (I was going to bring her some black current tea), her church, her God.....and her daughter. She was so proud of you! She told me of a recent potential connection with an old flame and how she was blessed to have found the love of her life twice, the mysterious man who left and your dad. There's a story there to be written! What a legacy. Your mom had a very deep faith and my own faith assures me that she has entered Heaven, no pain, no weak heart,no worries....and just maybe she's sharing a cup of tea with my mom as we used to do when you and my sisters were babies and your mom was a new Canadian. Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the service on Saturday but will be definately be thinking of you. Warmest Regards,Mary

Dearest Catherine. I just have to look at your mom's photo and I see such a lovely lady that she was. We will miss her and her contagious smile. She was so proud of you and all the did in your life. She told us on Monday past what you were up to and it made her so proud looking. I know that you will miss her but take care of yourself, as she is now been well looked after and at peace.
