To Doris, Dennis and Barb and family, Wayne and Val, Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your Husband, Father and Grandfather. The comfort of memories of the good times spent together will help you get through the days ahead. Harold left the way he wanted, peacefully and with no pain. Dennis,Barb and family, Please accept my sincerest sympathy on the death of your Dad.I remember him from tiny grammas house and his incessant teasing,you could never get one up on him regardless of how we tried.I am sorry I won't be able to attend the service due to me still being in L.A. with my daughter but I will be there in spirit.Remember only the good times you have had with your Dad(not his stubborness)that is what will keep him alive in your hearts.These memories will give you the courage to face things head on just as your Dad did, and you have as well. In the 70's we were living in Powell River, British Columbia. Driving along Marine Avenue I noticed a white stetson, something totally out of place in this coastal town. I slowly moved up to the person walking the sidewalk and knew immediately it was Harold Teeter. He was surprised to know how I recognized him! His walk, his smile, his HAT! Over moose steak dinner that evening he related to my husband and family how he had worked in Powell River in his earlier years as a shake cutter and had the desire to check the spot out once again. One of the local RCMP officers took the time to drive him around during that afternoon. Harold gave always the impression he was pleased to visit with one: his smile was a beacon to that friendliness. As two great story tellers he and my late husband enjoyed life to the fullest, sharing their adventures as if they had known each other for years. The void left in his passing will be indelibly marked. My deepest sympathy to his lovely wife, Doris.

Our family has the sweetest memories of an old cowboy with lots of stories and a twinkle in his eyes as he told them...our entire family looked forward to his visits...chocolate bars for all the kids and he loved to share a coffee and a story or two...Doreen still rides the buckskin horse "Snoop" that Harold broke with his brand still very visible on him. Feels like a familiar, sweet, and very western by gone era has dissappeared now that Harold is gone. But his memory will live on, God Bless all you family members as you keep his memory alive! He is riding in heaven now!
