I was saddened to hear of Annie's passing.
I first met her at Tim Hortons where I would sometimes stop on my way to work in the mornings. She was in her late 80's even then, and would walk to Tim's almost every morning. She was a remarkable person, always smartly dressed.....even early in the mornings!
She was independant, worked hard in life, and would not be overcome by the pain caused from her traffic accident a number of years ago. She always followed a strict diet regimen to maintain good health.
She spoke fondly of her children and grandchildren and their achievements. She was a dutiful wife, faithfully visiting and attending to the needs of her husband Ace when he was hospitalized.
My sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of their mother.

Annie was such a remarkable lady and loved her Ace so much. We had several coffees with her at Tim's. She loved to talk about the old days, especially the time when she met Ace. We enjoyed her company so much. Our prayers and condolences are with her family at this time.

I have so many good memories of your mom and the time spent in your home when we were growing up. It is always hard to lose a loved one especially at this time of year. I feel certain that your parents are now together and that your mom is filling your dad in on all that has past since she saw him last.
I will always associate your mom with HATS!!! It seemed like I very rarely saw her without one on.

Pat and Garry we will miss Aunt Annie very much, she played a very important role in our lives for many years and we all loved her very much! We were sorry to hear of Aunt Ann's passing. I will always remember her for her love of life and family. She loved to dance and walk and keep herself healthy. We didn't see her often but loved to see her. Mom will miss her.
