Obituary of Peter Pankiw

On Thursday, March 29, 2012 Mr. Peter Pankiw of Elk Point, Alberta passed away in the Elk Point Health Care Centre at the age of 88 years. Peter is loved and remembered by his children: Brenda (Ken) Hladunewich of Beauvallon, AB, Elaine (Harvey) Aarbo of Elk Point, AB, Richard Pankiw (Susan Friesen) of Grande Prairie, AB, Dave (Bernadette) Pankiw of Elk Point, AB, Normy Pankiw of Elk Point, AB; 21 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren; sisters: Stella Harrison of Edmonton, Leona Moneta of Elk Point sisters-in-law Alice Pankiw of St. Paul, Julia Pankiw of Elk Point, brother-in-law Nick Melnyk of Elk Point. He was predeceased by his parents Alex and Katherine Pankiw, (mother of his children) Paulina (Melnyk) Pankiw, brothers Bill, Steve, Walter and Mike, sisters Mary Melnyk and Elizabeth Pankiw. A Funeral Service for Peter will be held at the Elk Point Seniors Centre in Elk Point, AB on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00 am.
