Obituary of Russell Peter Black

On Thursday, January 31, 2013 Retired RCMP Sgt. Russell "Russ" Black of Vermilion passed away at the Vermilion Health Care Complex at the age of 75 years. Russ is lovingly remembered by: his wife Grace Black of Vermilion; son Russell Ross (Lena) Black of Vermilion; daughter Andrea (Cameron) Bell of Calgary; grandchildren Zachariah and Hannah Black, Liam, Jared and Clay Bell; sister Stella Black of Kamloops, BC; brother Walter (Odell) Black of Kamloops, BC as well as several nieces and nephews Russell was predeceased by his parents Fred and Julia Black and sister-in-law Martie Black A Prayer Service for Russell will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Vermilion. Mass of the Resurrections will be held on Tuesday, February 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. Donations in memory of Russell may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Friends of Vermilion Health Care Complex or STARS.
