Obituary of Ruth Marie Oldenburg

On Monday, April 15 Mrs Ruth Oldenburg of Vermilion Passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 84 years. Ruth is lovingly remembered by her husband Roy Oldenburg of Vermilion; her Children: Roger (Sonia) Oldenburg of Vermilion and Rena (Chris) Allin of Jasper; grandchildren: Karen (Durwin) Selte, Shannon (Colt) Arnold, Mel Oldenburg (Kyle Alward) , Cassi, Natalie and Sean Allin; great grandchildren: Rhyan, Ashton and Tenley, her brrother: Don Purser of Paradise Valley; sisters- in-law Lee Ramsay of Edmonton and Edna Oldenburg of Vermilion as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Ted and Vera Purser and her sisters in-law and brothers-in-law A Funeral Service for Ruth will held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at First United Church, Vermilion, Alberta at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Charlie McNeil officiating. Interment will follow in the Vermilion Public Cemetery. If so desired memorial contributions in memory of Ruth may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or the charity of your choice.
