Geoff made the most of everyday that he had. He was gracious enough to help others learn about how to manage his illness despite the adversity of it. Dear Tammie and family members, we were so very sorry to hear of Geoff's passing. We always had a special place in our hearts for Geoff as he lived in our basement suite for several years. We shared many good visits and watched him as he worked hard to balance time with his children, his job and studying every night to become an EMT. We were then so proud to see him succeed and accomplish his dream. It was even more gratifying to see him find the love of his life in you Tammie and to find the happiness he so deserved. Geoff will be sadly missed by all of us who knew him, by the many patients he was so kind to but especially by you and his family who loved him so very much. Tammie, Leona and all the family. We are so sorry that Geoff has passed. We never saw anyone celebrate each breath and moment with you like he did. Funny how it goes, although we are all from Alberta, we only knew Geoff from the visits to the desert at Needles CA. We sure enjoyed his visits (when you were working Tam) and mostly when both of you would come down. This last 2 years were especially poignant with his ALS advancing as it did. Will never forget the boat ride on the Colorado River with you both last November. And Geoff always smiling. Take care of yourself now Tammie, no one did more for him than you, and he loved you dearly. Our deepest condolences.
