Obituary of Mary Dempsey

On Sunday, May 25, 2014 Mrs. Mary Dempsey of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Viking Extendicare Facility at the age of 100 years. Mary is survived by her loving family; two children, Maureen (Keith) Currie of Irma, Ron Dempsey of Irma; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Graham Johnson of British Columbia. She was predeceased by her husband Bob; two grandchildren. A Funeral service for the late Mrs. Mary Dempsey will be conducted on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Irma United Church with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Irma United Church or the charity of the donors choice.
