Obituary of Marie Therese Gormley

On Sunday, August 10, 2014 Mrs. Therese Gormley of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at Points West Living, Wainwright at the age of 85 years. Therese is survived by her loving family; seven children, Joanne (Allan Schlosser) Gormley of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Linda (Calvin Pratt) of Edmonton, Alberta, Carole Dorscher of Vernon, British Columbia, Paul Gormley of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Patrick Gormley of Edmonton, Mark (Cindy) Gormley of Elk Point, Alberta, Allan (Kim) Gormley of Wainwright; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Theresa Gormley-Perrault of Sherbrooke, Quebec. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard in 1989. A Prayer service for the late Therese Gormley will be conducted on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 7:30 PM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Andrzej Lukasewicz the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Retired Priests Fund or the Blessed Sacrament School.
