Obituary of Dorothy Hazel Tondu

On Wednesday, November 19, 2014 Mrs. Dorothy Tondu of Wainwright passed away at the Wainwright Hospital at the age of 69 years. Dorothy is loved and remembered by her husband Richard of Wainwright; her children Jonathan (Tammy) Tondu of Drayton, Valley; Deborah Whalen (Darrin Newell) of Okotoks and Jason (Dee) Tondu of Edgerton; grandchildren Jerica, Tristan and Tavin Tondu Alleisha (Jay) Formenti, Breanna Whalen and Spencer Whalen Cohen and Bentley Tondu; great grandson Charlie Formenti; sister Isabelle (Ron) Sparks of Calgary, sisters-in-law Margo (Elmer) Bethune of Duncan, BC and Louise Sheperd of Stettler She was predeceased by her son Dwayne in 1961, her parents Claude and Annie Stewart and her siblings Edwin Stewart, Mary Harbak, and Jeannette Larson. A Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held on Monday, November 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace United Church, Wainwright at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Lung Association, The Arthritis Society or the Stollery children's Hospital.
