Obituary of Josephine Vitaline Abbott

On Sunday, November 30, 2014 Mrs. Josie Abbott of Edgerton, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her loving family; two children, Dode (Andy) McMann of Provost, Alberta, Harry (Penny) Abbott of Edmonton, Alberta; son-in-law, Ernie Symington of Provost; eight grandchildren, Derek Abbott, Jared Abbott, Danny Scott, Joeena Dallyn, Donna (Bob) Brulhart, Leeanna (Russel) Maron, Angela McMann, Shari Scott; eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred; daughters, Maxine and Patricia; son, Thomas. A Funeral service for the late Mrs. Josie Abbott will be conducted on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Edgerton Agricultural Hall, Edgerton with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Edgerton Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the charity of the donors choice.
