I have a lot of great memories of Mr. Carter from his humour in my Grade 5/6 class, to him coming out of the arena door at the Chrome Dome saying, “time to scrape” the ice. This was very sad to hear.

How very sad to say farewell to such an anchor of community and good citizen. What a pleasure and honor to work with Bill in Victim Service Unit. A man of honor, caring for all from deep in his heart and a profound faith that was visible . What a legacy to leave and a torch to pick up and carry on. I met Bill through work as a newbie to Vermilion. I think he knew right away I was a fellow Maritimer and after chatting we found out we were both from the same area of Saint John NB. I have since moved back home to SJ but will never forget Bills kindness and how he made me feel welcome. He also gave me the down low on life in a small town in Alberta and how to survive those winters! My deepest sympathy to Judy & family.
