I want you to all know that I am thinking of and praying for all of you at this sad, sad time. I have a lot of good memories of our times together spent on the Pedersen farm when I first came in to the family back in the 70's. I was always made to feel welcome and a part of the family. The Oliver/Pedersen "Hoedowns" were fun too, especially at the old North Bend Hall. I remember this great lady from Farmer Market days. She had the best produce in town. But recently I got to meet her daughter Brandy for whom I finished a quilt that her Mom had started May you wrap yourself in this quilt and have fond memories of your Mom & Gramma. I have many wonderful memories of Ovidia,working with her at TD Bank,and curling with her at the Hillmond curling rink. Ovidia was a true friend to many people,and a very hard worker. I will never forget Ovidia. Such a hard worker, happy to be helping someone else, always with a gorgeous smile. Bransi, Tina and Tyson we are all thinking of you guys as you go through this difficult time. I don't think anything or anyone could ever prepare you for the loss of a mother...we can never imagine life without them. Such a heartbreaking thing to go through. I hope you feel comfort as each day goes by, and know that you were so incredibly blessed to have her in your lives as the head of the family, your biggest cheerleader, and I'm certain one of the greatest grandmas in the world. Dear Pedersen Family, I was so sorry to hear the sad news, but I know Ovidia is not suffering any more. I first met her when she came to parent-teacher interviews at Hillmond School for her children. She was such a dedicated mother and a hard working lady. I admired her work ethic with her market gardens and her renovation work. She was always so pleasant and thoughtful of others. Dear Family Members: I was so sorry to read of Ovidia's passing. She was one of our volunteers with the Canadian Cancer Society Lloydminster Unit during the time I was there.
