We will miss Linda very much in our lives. The kids grew up with her always there for them at every occasion. She was a friend for 30 years and we certainly had some adventures. I am so sorry for your loss and I know you will take a very long time adjusting to her not physically here. I know she loved you all so very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Deb, Graydon and Sheena Greenlaw XO

A Yukon Nugget, Linda was not only an incredible friend and mentor, but respected and appreciated by all she met and worked with from Alaska, across Canada, the lower 48, Mexico, Japan and places in-between. Promoting the Yukon was a passion, but her family was her number one love. Sincerest condolences. She will be truly missed.

We have lost a Yukon nugget. Not only was Linda a dear friend and incredible mentor, she was adored and loved by all who met her. From Alaska, throughout Canada, into the lower 48, Mexico and Japan Linda was highly thought of and appreciated. And although promoting the Yukon was just one of her passions, her family was always her number one priority. She will be missed.

We have lost a nugget. Linda was respected and loved by all she met and worked with; from Alaska, across Canada, the lower 48, Mexico and Japan, Linda connected. Although she had a passion for promoting and showcasing the Yukon, her family was always her first and foremost love. We will miss you Linda.

I am so very sad to learn about the passing of Linda. Truthfully, I haven't seen or spoken to Linda in over 8 years but I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Linda through Team Canada - she was, as you know, an amazingly fun, energetic and smart lady. She taught me a lot about tourism and life. Know there are MANY folks thinking of Linda with tears but also big big smiles - Gail, Saint John, New Brunswick

My sincerest empathies to the family. Linda always has had such a zest for life. I recall often seeing a twinkle in her eye as she recalled some humorous incident from her adventures. I will miss hearing more of her stories.

Linda and I both worked at the Department of Tourism for a number of years. How would I describe her? She was a tireless worker who loved her job and so enjoyed meeting people. She almost always wore a smile and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed.

Though we hadn't been in touch for many years, I was deeply saddened to hear of Linda's passing. Always wore a bright smile on that pretty face and had the biggest, kindest heart ....... I remember all the good times we had so many years ago in Dawson and especially that great ball team we had!! RIP lovely Linda.

We were very shocked and saddened at the news of Linda's passing. Her lively bright team spirit made any group she was part of more enjoyable. We remember especially the early Dawson days of baseball and Gerties.
Our heartfelt condolences to Linda's family.

I was so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her for almost 10 years at Tourism Yukon, and we shared a sense of humor when it came to the bureaucracy we worked within. Many chuckles, laughs and eye rolls. Oh the eye rolls. She will be missed and thought about fondly by many of the tour operators in Yukon and lodges along the highways. Whether she was working or not, she took the time to stop and see how they were doing. She really cared about all of them. She was a true tourism ambassador for Yukon. ...so long Miss B.
My sincerest condolences to all of you and especially her grandchildren whom she loved so much.

To Linda my tourism travelling companion for many years! From our booth bunny roles to closing the sale we sure had a lot of fun. We shared many a laughs as you waggled that finger at many more then once :) With great sadness I learned of your passing but that feeling was quickly softened by a flood of positive memories which I wouldn't trade for the world...including your generosity to share your sisters homemade sandwiches during a 14-hour booth marathon on a Saturday in Edmonton!!
Missed but that smile will never be forgotten my friend :)

We were saddened to learn of Linda's passing. Linda was without a doubt among the most dedicated tourism professionals in Canada and the U.S. I fondly remember working my first consumer show with Linda and she said to me "Denny, I can watch the booth so you have time to run back to your hotel and iron your shirt". Always a professional and have heard countless reports from travel agents, media, and other guests about Linda's incredible customer service. It was so fitting that the Tourism Industry Association of Yukon recognized her life time achievements. Anne and I enjoyed fun ribbing about how "Linda would approve" when we would take the snow and ice off our driveway down to the 'black stuff'. Linda has left an incredible legacy promoting Yukon that has touched so many. We will miss you! Denny and Anne

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Linda - oh yet so young. Linda and I worked for Parks Canada - Klondike National Historic Sites in Dawson City for 10 years. I can so relate to Denny's quote about returning to the hotel to iron his shirt! Linda taught me attention to detail as well... the height of all the blinds in the windows of the Palace Grand Theatre had to match! She was an amazing net worker and an incredible wealth of knowledge when it came to service to the public. She was endlessly energetic, she volunteered on EVERYTHING and she loved her sons fiercely. She taught me so much over the years and I was able to make use of that knowledge no matter where I worked across mostly northern Canada. I can surely see her telling the angels to make sure those wings are well brushed, those halos need polishing and those white dresses could use a little starch. My heart goes out to her family and you are in my thoughts during this most difficult time. May you have huge support in the coming days and know that Linda left her mark in the world. She was unforgettable through time and space.
