We send our sincere sympathy to Phyllis's family members. Anne has known Phyllis all of her life as Marvin and Jenny were some of the first people Anne's parents met when they moved to the Giltedge District many years ago. They remained good friends and Anne spent a lot of time at the Plaxton farm enjoying the animals. Phyllis was a kind, good hearted lady and she will be sadly missed by her sons and their families. We will be unable to attend the service as we are out of town for a week, but the family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.

I just learned today of Aunty Phyllis's passing. I am deeply sorry for your loss, Leonard and Albert and your families. Aunty Phyllis was a kind, sweet lady of whom I have fond childhood memories when she used to come over for coffee to my parent's home with Uncle Phil on weekends. I saw her periodically when I came down to Wainwright, usually at the Coop Cafe or other places having coffee. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say whenever I saw her. I will never forgot the time she sent me a bouquet at Christmas time when she found out I couldn't come home for Christmas because I lived so far away in Winnipeg. Her thoughtfulness and generousness really touched me at the time. I will miss her; and I will pray that you, to whom she meant so much, will be blessed with a peace that surpasses all understanding.
