Obituary of Arthur George LeGros

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019 Mr. Arthur LeGros of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at Castor, Alberta at the age of 90 years. Art is survived by his son-in-law, Harry Loonen of Wainwright; daughter-in-law, Shirley LeGros of Yellowknife, North West Territories; three grandchildren, Crystal LeGros of Edmonton, Alberta, Neil (Amy) Loonen of Wainwright, Sara (Justin Standing) Loonen of Castor; two great grandchildren, Owen and Claire Loonen; his brother, Les (Fran Stevenson) LeGros of Leader, Saskatchewan; two sisters, Ferne Gill of Leader, Shirley (Doug) Colton of Campbell River, British Columbia; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Guday of Cochrane, Alberta, Billie Shepard of Calgary, Alberta. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; son, David LeGros; daughter, Liz Loonen. A funeral service for Art will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Royal Canadian Legion, Wainwright. Interment will take place in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Lions Club or the Wainwright and District Handivan.
