Obituary of Doris Ida McClennon

On Thursday, December 5, 2019, Mrs. Doris McClennon of Wainwright, Alberta passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 94 years. Doris is survived by her loving family; her children, Judy (Floyd) Woodward of Wainwright, Alberta, Eldon (Maryellen) McClennon of Wainwright, Alberta, Marlene Thirsk of Viking, Alberta; grandchildren, Patty Roberts, Brent Woodward, Jodie McClennon, Jamie McClennon, Ryan McClennon, Tracy Beaumont, Tami Haeberle, Dallas Thirsk; eighteen great grandchildren; and brother Lorence (Donna) Myggland of Edmonton, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank McClennon; parents, Lars & Linnea Myggland; sister, Elsie Fletcher; brothers, Arnie, Harold, and Floyd; grandsons, Kevin and Tyler Woodward. A funeral service for Mrs. Doris McClennon will be conducted from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright, Alberta on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will take place at Wainwright Cemetery, Wainwright, Alberta If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Wainwright Hospital CT Scanner fund or to the charity of choice.
