Obituary of Shannon Robert Smart

On Wednesday, February 8, 2023 Mr. Shannon Smart passed away in Vermilion, Alberta at the age of 57 years. Shannon is forever loved and remembered by his Daughter Willow Smart (Fiancé Ryley Gardner) of Williams Lake; Mother Genevieve Smart of Vermilion; Siblings Kathy Bowtell of Vermilion, Kevin Jackson of Vermilion, Ted (Carmen) Smart of Kitscoty, Link (Tammi) Smart of Mannville; Nieces and Nephews Justin (Jillian) Bowtell, Jason Bowtell, Christa Bowtell, Dhillon (Paige) Smart, Melissa Smart, Kennedy (Lane) Demas, Saige Smart, Paityn Smart, Taryn Smart; As well as numerous extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his Father John Jackson; Adopted Father Walter Smart; Nephew Joel Bowtell.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, Vermilion.

The service will be live streamed and can be found under the video tribute tab. If technical difficulties occur it will be recorded and posted within 48 hours.

In keeping with his wishes Shannon will be cremated and his cremains interred at Dawson Creek.
