Obituary of John MIchael Kneen

John Micheal Kneen passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 74 years in Vermillion, Alberta on January 19, 2024.

John leaves behind his loving wife Sharon of 49 years, two daughters - Daphne (Jerry) Hollington and Tracey (Kevin) Espetveidt, four grandchildren - Taya (Mark), Pierce (Jess), Dylan, and Tiegen, one great grandson - Clayton.

Two sisters - Pat McQueen and Ann Adams, brother - David (Kay) Kneen, six sisters in law - June Kneen, Marie (Ken) Smith, Betty-Ann (Bill) McDonald, Terry-Mae (Harold) Sinclair, Geraldine (Robert) Taron and Jennifer (Lee) Goertzen, mother in law - Ivy Schultz, as well as many nieces and nephews.

John is predeceased by his parents Max and Jessie Kneen, father in law Raymond Schultz, brother Bill Kneen, sister in law Beatrice Sorenson, brothers in law - Allan McQueen and Ken Adams.

A small private family service will be held in Marwayne, Alberta at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Irwinville Cemetery Fund (C/O Rob Kent, Marwyane, AB), Cross Cancer Institute or Stollery Childrens Hospital.
