Obituary of Ruby Constance Ruud

On Saturday February 17, 2024, Ruby Constance Ruud passed away at the age of 93 years at the Vermilion Health Care Complex.  Ruby is survived by her 7 children:  Chris (Jean) Ruud of Calgary, Debbie Kobsar of Lloydminster, Diane Ruud of Edmonton, Leonard (Bonnie) Ruud of Sherwood Park, Sig (Susan) Ruud of Calgary, Larry (Mary Ann) Ruud of Vermilion, Roxanne Ruud of St. Albert, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, her brother Ralph Thomsen and her sister Hazel Robinson. 

Ruby was predeceased by her husband Arnold Ruud, her father Chris Thomsen, her sister Doris Leonhardt, and son-in-law Cal Kobsar. 

Ruby’s Celebration of Life will occur on Saturday, February 24th at 2 p.m. at the Vermilion Regional Center.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
