I am very sorry to hear about Wes. I would like to express our sincerest sympathies, on behalf of Guardian Condominium Care, to his family and friends during this difficult time. Wes always took the time to stop whatever he was working on at Speedpro for a chat and a laugh when I came in. I'll miss him.

We wish to express our sincere sympathy with the passing of Wes. While we did not know Wes himself, we have been friends of Ralph Grunow's for many years, and we know that Wes will be missed by family and friends. Forty-six is far too young to leave this world, but I am of the belief that there is a better place ahead, with no stress or illness. Our thoughts are with you all. Barbara Bettcher, Cal Bettcher, and Noemi Barios.

I worked with Wes for several years - We shared a cubicle for about a year, and we were close; literally, our chars were about a foot apart.
Wes never did anything halfway - If he was in, he was all in. He tackled everything with passion, and he genuinely cared about the people around him.

I am so sad to hear this news. Wes and I worked together for many years, and we became good friends - the type of friend that could share anything and never needed reassurance. We spoke often, just the day before his birthday and we had planned a get together next week. I will miss Wes deeply. He often told me I was his mentor, but the truth was, he taught me so much! He made me a better leader and a better person. I will miss our deep conversation about human interaction and I will miss his laugh as we shared inside jokes. To his parents, brother and to Lara - my deepest condolences. There are no words to ease your pain right now, but know that Wes was liked and respected by all he met. His creativity, his attention to detail, work ethic and most of all his ability coach and mentor employees. Farewell Wes, I will miss you.

They say some people go a lifetime without having someone who steps in and makes a difference in their life and truly empowers you to do and be better, but more importantly to believe in yourself in ways you never imagined possible..
I got my break in IT when I met Wes 6 years ago wes hired me for a role at Encana and was my boss and friend, from the first day we worked together he instilled in me lessons far beyond any IT process I have ever learned. Most importantly about integrity compassion, respect and being devoted to helping people to become better and the reciprocal power of building teams and people that are rich in confidence, leadership, pride and success.
I don't know where my life would be without his guidance,, today I was deeply saddened to hear of his sudden passing. I send the Grunow family and Lara my condolences and sympathy for the loss of a son and cherished love one, I share in your grief and having to say Good-bye .
Wes was a great man, a great leader and a kind caring friend,, he had a laugh and smile that was infectious, so genuine and a heart that was gold and devoted to making others lives better.
I'm truly blessed to have had the chance to work with and to have known you Wes and so very very grateful for all that you shared in our time together.
Rest easy buddy, you will be missed,
Thank-you
Brent Soby

So saddened to hear this news today. Wes was a thoughtful, caring man, and I was privileged to call him one of my best friends growing up in Wainwright. How he loved Knight Rider, Samantha Fox, his weekly cartoon in the Star Chronicle, and cutting laps on Main Street. He had artistic talent, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a kind manner. He'll be missed. David
