Obituary of Walter William Smart

Walter Smart passed away November 5, 2016 in Edmonton at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Genevieve; children Kevin, Kathy, Shannon, Ted (Carmen), and Lincoln (Tammi); grandchildren (Christa), Justin (Jillian), Jason (Kelley), Dhillon, Melissa, Willow, Kennedy, Saige, Paityn, and Taryn; great grandchildren Isabelle, Abigail, Boston, and Cohen; siblings Ollie, Jacob (Carol), Adeline (Jack), Bill, and Peter (Patricia); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Annie; grandson Joel; sister Isabelle (Frank); brother in law John; and niece Debbie. A Funeral Service will be held at the Vermilion Regional Centre on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of choice.
