Obituary of Franklin Wolters

Franklin Wolters passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the age of 79 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Donna (Aart) Okkema, Bonita (Craig) Brown, James (Pamela) Wolters, and Gordon (Christina) Wolters; grandchildren Ryan, Moniek, Lauren, Emily, Amber, Chelsea, Leia, Viliam, Alexandria, Elizabeth, Harrison, and Friedrich; sisters Susan (Trevor) Clark, Irene Wasylik, and Charlotte Wolters; sister in law Margaret Wolters; as well as numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter April Wolters; parents Otto & Gladys Wolters; brother Elmer Wolters; and brothers in law John Wasylik and Rolf Marthinsen. A Celebration of Life is being held at the Vermilion Regional Centre on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Friends of Vermilion Palliative Care, or charity of choice.
