Obituary of Lillian White

Lillian White passed away April 12, 2016 in Vermilion at the age of 74 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Gwen Armstrong and Greg (Melanie) White of Edmonton; grandchildren Kevin (Jessica) White, Erika White, Sarah White and Kimberley White; great grandchildren Alexa White and Isabelle White; siblings Marion (Harold) Morgan of Marshall, Sask., Phyllis Elmer of Vermilion, Bonny (George) Thomson of Jaffray, BC, Ruby (Rodney) McMinis of Vermilion, Raymond (Janis) Schock of Edmonton, and Bill Schock of Vernon, BC; as well as numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Flora (nee Calder) Schock; son in law Douglas Armstrong; and brother in law Nigel Elmer. A Visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home, Vermilion on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at the Vermilion Public Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Michael Crowe, President of the Vermilion Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memorial Donations may be made to the Habitat for Humanity or a charity of choice.
