Obituary of Donald Hugh Sparks

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016 Mr. Don Sparks of Edgerton, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 77 years. Don is survived by his loving family; his wife, Joan; three children, Debra (Lenny) Waddell of Edgerton, April (Tom) Pedersen of Wainwright, Brian (Denise) Sparks of Edgerton; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; four brothers, Cliff Sparks, Harry Sparks, Jim (Mary-Ann) Sparks, Doug Sparks; one sister, Diane McDonnell; As well as Joan's siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service for the late Don Sparks will be conducted on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM from the Edgerton Agricultural Hall with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin and Reverend Peter Yeung officiating. Interment will follow in the Edgerton Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the local charity of the donors choice.
