Obituary of Bonnie Mckay
Bonnie McKay passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in Vermilion at the age of 69 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alphonse McKay of Vermilion; children Robyn (Terry) Christenson of Dapp, Carey McKay of Vermilion, Eugene (Kathy) McKay of Spruce Home, SK and Lori (Terang) Bangun of Vermilion; grandchildren Michael Christenson (Michelle), Marissa (Tony) Buchholz, Kody McKay (Rayne), Shalaine Christenson (Coulton), Jesse McKay (Jake), Rachelle Christenson, Ryker Bangun, and Jillenna Bangun; great grandchildren Jayden Christenson, Warren Buchholz, Jeanette Christenson, Henry Buchholz, Hudson McKay, and Jaylyn Stableford; siblings Ellen McDonald, Arnold (Sharon) Taylor, Gordon (Diane) Taylor, Glenda (Ron) Siemens and Maureen (Rick) Ketchum; siblings in law Roger (Pat) Robichaud, Evelyn (Noel) Kadachuk, Napolean (Bertha) McKay, Hilda Thommes, Robert McKay, Linda McKay, Steve (Diane) McKay, Stella (Richard) Cross, and Lily (Clifford) McKay - Carriere; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jake & Pearl Taylor; parents in law Rod & Marie Louise McKay; sister Alice Robichaud; brother Jim Taylor; siblings in law Jim McDonald, Pat Taylor, Selena McKay, Betsy DeCesco, and Rudy Thommes; and nieces Leona McKay and Kona Mathews. A Funeral Service will be held on November 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vermilion Senior's Centre, 5324 - 50 Avenue. Memorial donations can be made to the Lakeland College "Bonnie McKay Scholarship Fund" or charity of one's choice.
