Obituary of Maxine Maron

Maxine Maron of Mannville, beloved wife to the late Edwin Maron, passed away peacefully at the Vermilion Health Center on September 30, 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory, children Lloyd Maron of Mannville, Valerie (Ron) Gizowski of Mannville, Barry (Louisa) Maron of Spruce Grove, and Sandra (Bernie) Rondeau of Lloydminster; grandchildren Karla (John - Peter) Pruden of Spruce Grove, Steven (Tamara) Maron of Edmonton, Jay (Nicole) Gizowski of Sherwood Park, Kelly (Anayancy Gonzalez Vargas)Gizowski of Calgary, Zack Gizowski of Edmonton, Paige Maron of Edmonton, Curtis Maron (Margaret Raposo) of Edmonton, Monique (Andrew) McFadyen of Lloydminster, and Marc Rondeau of Edmonton; great grandchildren Adam and Reese Pruden, Gavin, Hanna and Halle Gizowski, and Madison Clarke; brothers Bill Erickson of Nanaimo, British Columbia and Nels (Dawn) Erickson of Parksville, British Columbia; and sister Shirley Cote of Parksville, British Columbia. Maxine was predeceased by her parents Freda & Nels Erickson; daughter in law Marjorie Maron; and brothers in law Frank Luchinski & Lance Cote. A Funeral Service will be taking place on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the McQueen Memorial United Church in Mannville, with Reverend Keith Marsh officiating. Donations can be made in honor of Maxine to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Mannville Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
