Obituary of Roy Whitney

Roy Whitney passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Prairie Edge in Vermilion at the age of 87 years. He will be lovingly remembered by wife Irene Whitney; children Mearl (Gladys) Whitney, Ken (Janice) Whitney, Linda (Reg) Everest, Norman (Helen) Whitney, and Darlene (Fred) Grune; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; brother Ernie Whitney; sisters Mabel Lysgaard and Ruth Irvine (Bill Johns); brother in law George Bounting; sisters in law Muriel Barnett and Shirley Whitney and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the First United Church, Vermilion on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Vermilion Health Centre Comfort Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
