Obituary of Lucille Lovell

On December 21, 2011 Mrs. Lucille Lovell passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years. She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Fae and Norine, and two stepsons, Herb and Gary; and by six grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren as well as two sisters, Edna and Dorothy, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lucille was born in Ferguson Flats, AB and at the age of 20 moved to the USA where her sister Phoebe resided. She married and raised her two daughters there. In 1977, she returned to Canada and married Philip Lovell in 1978. They lived on the farm near Clandonald until 1998, when she and Philip moved to Elk Point. They moved to Devon, AB in 2004 and in 2008 Lucille moved to Edmonton. Predeceased by her first husband, Willis Berreman and her second husband Philip Lovell. Lucille's compassion for others and wonderful sense of humor will be fondly remembered by all. The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the staff at Mill Woods Shepherds Care for their compassionate care over the last few years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on January 14, 2012 at the Vermilion Senior Citizens Centre, 5324-50 Ave., Vermilion, AB.
