Obituary of Margaret Catherine Snelgrove

On Saturday, June 10, 2017 Mrs Margaret Snelgrove of Vermilion passed away at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 90 years. Margaret is loved and remembered by Her Husband of 68 years Bob Snelgrove; Daughter Peggy (Leland) Jillson of Eugene, Oregon; Sons Robert (Barb), Eric, Douglas (Laurie), Lloyd (Bev), Neil (Karen) and Harold (Vicki) all of Vermilion;19 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers Bob (Jessie) Briggs, Donald (Alice) Briggs both of Edmonton; Sister Dorothy Rowswell of St. Albert She was predeceased by her Son Kenneth Snelgrove; Granddaughter Robina Jillson; Parents Fred & Margaret Briggs; Brother Fred Briggs A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Vermilion Regional Centre at 2:00 p.m. If so desired donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Lakeland College Alumni Association Award (C/O Alumni House, 5705- College Drive, Vermilion, AB T9X 1K5 or Vermilion Heritage Museum (5310-50 Ave. Vermilion, AB T9X 1L1)
